Modular GRP Sectional Water Tank
GRP water tank is a modular panel-type water storage solution designed for projects where durability, corrosion resistance, hygiene, installation efficiency and flexible capacity are important.Unlike conventional welded steel tanks, the sectional GRP tank is assembled from individual panels on site. This makes transportation easier and allows the tank dimensions and capacity to be customized for different project requirements.

Our GRP water tank is manufactured from premium SMC roof, side, and bottom panels, reinforced with an internal support system, stainless steel or hot-dip galvanized tie rods, EPDM sealing gaskets, and high-strength bolted connections. To ensure the safety of water tanks during long-distance transportation, all tank panels and accessories are professionally packed according to international export standards. Each component is carefully protected to prevent damage, scratches, and deformation during handling and shipping.
GRP Water Tank Installation Process
1. Foundation Preparation
Prepare a level and strong concrete foundation according to the approved tank drawings and dimensions. Check the foundation level, dimensions and load-bearing capacity before installation.ements.
5.Install Internal Supports
Install internal tie rods, stay plates and supporting components according to the structural drawings. The reinforcement system helps maintain the tank shape and provides additional stability when the tank is filled with water.
2.Install the Base Frame
Install the galvanized steel C-channel base frame on the concrete foundation. Adjust and align the frame carefully to provide a stable and level support for the GRP bottom panels.
6.Install Roof Panels & Accessories
After completing the side walls and internal reinforcement, install the GRP roof panels. Then install the manhole, ladder, air vent, water level indicator and other required accessories.
3. Install the Bottom Panels
Place the GRP/SMC bottom panels onto the support frame according to the approved layout drawing. Install sealing strips between the panel flanges before bolting the panels together.
7.Installation connection flange
Connect the inlet, outlet, drain and overflow pipes according to the approved piping drawings. Inspect all panel joints, bolts, sealing strips, flanges and internal supports before testing.
4.Assemble the Side Panels
Install the GRP side panels layer by layer around the tank. Connect adjacent panels using bolts, nuts and sealing strips.For larger or taller tanks, internal reinforcement should be installed according to the tank design .
8.Water Filling & Leakage Test
After installation is completed, gradually fill the tank with clean water and inspect all panel joints and connections for leakage. Keep the tank filled for the specified testing period and repair any leakage before final acceptance.
